This gateway is a standard CANopen to PROFINET gateway CAN@PROFINET A type of gateway. The PROFINET side of this gateway is a PROFINET IO slave station, and the CAN side interface supports CAN2.0A/B with optional baud rates of 5K~1M. The CANopen protocol supports the CANopen master or slave protocol (selected by a DIP).

When the CANOPEN side of this gateway is used as the master station, it can be used for one to many integrated CANOPEN slave stations, forming a CANOPEN subnet and connecting to PROFINET to meet the technical requirements of PROFINET controller monitoring CANOPEN devices. When the gateway CANOPEN is used as a slave station, it can be used to transmit data from other CANOPEN master stations (such as PLC/DCS) and their slave stations to the PROFINET controller. The principle of this gateway technology is memory sharing, which does not require programming of the main station PLC/DCS. Simply configure the gateway CANOPEN message in the main station configuration (such as STEP7) to achieve the automatic sending function of the gateway CANOPEN main station.
